Here are some fabulous images from one of our most recent weddings. The happy couple, Abiola and Pamela both live in Switzerland but as they met in London while they were studying they had their hearts set on getting married here. You can see their engagement shoot photos here – these were taken nearby to the university they studied at in Holborn.
We had so much fun doing Pamela’s getting-ready shots at the stunning Threadneedles Hotel – a 5 star boutique hotel in the heart of the City of London. We know the venue well and it provides a wonderfully eclectic mix of old and new design.
Abiola and Pamela’s ceremony was held at St Etheldreda’s Church, a lovely quintessential church tucked away in a small cul-de-sac in the city. The ideal setting for an intimate London city wedding, with stone floors and beautiful stained glass windows.
Before moving on to the reception venue we took the opportunity to do a photo shoot of the newlyweds near St Pauls cathedral, the millennium bridge and around Bank – before moving on to The Royal Exchange!
This is without doubt one of London’s landmark buildings which provided us with incredible architecture and creative space to capture the beautiful images you can see above. A lot of the guests wore traditional Nigerian attire which made for a very vibrant atmosphere…and suffice to say they weren’t shy on the dance floor! This was a Nigerian wedding but with a London twist!
I feel really blessed to have worked with Abiola and Pamela as they are such a lovely couple.
