Hi there and thanks for stopping by our blog. I’ve just been sorting through some images from our latest wedding and thought I’d post a few up for everyone to see!
This was the fabulous wedding of Himashi and Francesco, both doctors, who were keen to showcase their favourite parts of London.
The wedding kicked off at the contemporary a The Apex London Wall Hotel where we did the getting ready shots. Our gorgeous bride Himashi was strutting her stuff in a lovely pair of Jimmy Choo wedding shoes!
The main ceremony was held at St Etheldreda’s Church, a lovely quintessential church tucked away in a small cul-de-sac in the city. It was the perfect place for an intimate London city wedding, with stone floors and beautiful stained glass windows.
Afterwards we whisked them away to a Postman’s Park and then on to Smithfields market in Farringdon for a photoshoot, where we made the most of the architectural features and ironmongery.
And finally our last stop for the evening was The Royal Exchange for a traditional Sri Lankan wedding ceremony, complete with mesmerising dancers. The food served up reflected Francesco’s Italian heritage – a delicious five course Italian inspired menu!
I really enjoyed photographing this wedding as it’s always fun to see families from two different cultures celebrating together.
